Welcome to NECAM – North East Central Advanced Motorists
We are a charity run entirely by volunteers and affiliated to IAM RoadSmart
Our aim is to improve road safety through driver training, empowering drivers with increased skill which leads to greater enjoyment and confidence behind the wheel
Our method is one-to-one training by qualified Observers towards the IAM RoadSmart "Advanced Driver" qualification. Further training towards even higher qualifications is available

Note, NECAM does not train motorcyclists, although riders are very welcome in our group. For advanced training on two wheels we recommend Durham Advanced Motorcyclists
